I really, REALLY love that the message of this show was, at its heart, ‘why choose to believe anything but the best of people’ / ‘why be anything but the best of yourself’. 

Why use technology (particularly the internet, as was evidenced multiple times, but other forms too) for viciousness, cruelty, bullying, and things like that when you could be using it to help those who need the skills you have, to connect with people, to understand their perspectives?

Uuuuuuugh I really love this show a lot. I love Hajime. I love Rui. They’re both such rare superheroes in this age of cynicism: they genuinely believe that people have a fundamental potential for good. 

Mary, you always say exactly the right thing to let me know if I should watch a show or not.
