I love how people get so surprised that they get backlash for making an offensive joke on this website like ok

usually if you make that joke in real life, you make it to like 5 friends that you know won’t get offended

but if you make the joke on here like 5,000 people with all humungously varied cultures, backgrounds, and demographics in all various sorts of moods will see it

so you’re really not thinking this through thoroughly at all if you think it’s just “this website is so touchy lol” and not realizing that it’s essentially the equivalence of screaming  a racist joke at a publicized UN conference
